In March of 2022 the Ohio Board of Cosmetology changed the continuing education requirements from 7 hours of license specific education and reduced the number of required hours to 3 hours of Infection Control and Safety. This is the NEW 3-Hour Ohio Board of Cosmetology approved course for Infection Control and Safety that you need to renew your professional license for the 2023 and the 2025 license renewal cycle. You do need to complete the Ohio 1 hour law course offered for free on the Ohio Board of Cosmetology website.

The completion of this course meets all continuing education requirements for all Ohio Salon Professionals that are up to date on their education credits and that are not behind from a previous renewal period.
