Our course by electronic booklet is $28.95, Our course is Texas Board approved, it is current and valid, and equals 8 credit hours of continuing education, covering all the subject areas required to renew your Texas license for one renewal period. If your license is expired or if you are getting your course credits early for the next renewal period this course is approved for you. We currently offer our Texas Continuing Education Courses in two ways. You can set up and account and complete the program online using the Learning Management System course method, or you can order the booklet to be emailed to you as an attached file. There are benefits to using both types of learning method. The Internet course lets you log in and out and take back up where you left off. The online booklet allows you to move through the material faster if you are a fast reader. The Internet method is timed where the booklet is not, but because the exam questions must be emailed back to us where we manually grade the course exam it can take as much or more time for us to get the course exam graded and the results back to you depending on how busy the office is. We reserve a 24 hour window to provide you with your exam results and the link to print your course certificate when using the booklet by email attachment, however you are not required to remain behind the booklet for any longer than it takes you to read and answer the questions. As a cosmetologist and as a provider of continuing education I would personally prefer using the booklet sent as an attached file to my email account because I read fast and I can complete the course in less time than using the booklet method as opposed to the Internet method where you cannot move faster than 1 hour for each of the 8 sections. Even though it may take as long to receive the results back if you choose to use the booklet emailed as an attached file, the additional time would not be spent behind the computer. It is however a personal choice for you to make. The difference in the cost of the electronic booklet to be emailed and the Internet version is because of the processing fees required to manually grade the exam and process your records. Where as the Internet course does that automatically and doesn't require manual processing costs.

If you don’t want to complete your continuing education using a timed Internet course you can order the booklet to be emailed to you. To have us send you the course as an electronic booklet complete the information form below, and click the “Submit Information” button. You will be directed to pay for your booklet order after which we will be alerted to your booklet request. Booklet request's are processed manually and as a result do not arrive in your email inbox immediately. When we get the alert of your booklet request we will email you the booklet in 1 to 6 hours from the time that you make your payment. Because this is a busy office we sometime are not behind the computer when a booklet order comes in and may not spot it for a bit of time. If you would like to call to see if we are able to send it over to you sooner you are welcome to call. If we can possibly get it to you any faster we will happily do so.

HOW TO RECEIVE AND COMPLETE THE TEXAS BOARD APPROVED "1 STOP CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAM" BY US MAIL

Easy steps to complete this program
1. Read this instruction page if you aren't certain how to correctly enter the information on the payment form.
2. Correctly enter and submit all sections of the information/payment form begining with the short form you find below these instructions.
3. We will process your order the day you place it and mail the booklet out to you on the next business day.
4. Your booklet order will arrive in approximately 10 business days.
5. Complete the exam at the back of the booklet and either call in your answers or mail the answers back to us. Your exam will be graded and provided you passed with a 75% score or better we then email that score back to you along with the link that you will need to open and print your certificate of course completion. You will need the information on the face of the course certificate when you pay your license renewal fee to the TDLR.

IMPORTANT NOTE: It is equally important that you follow through with all the steps. Going back to your email inbox after you send us your course quiz answers to open and read the email we send you containing the information you need to pay your renewal fees to the state.

For your report of course completion to be sent you must submit accurate information on the payment form, inaccurate or incomplete information will cause a delay. If the name on the credit card is different than the name on the license, enter the card owner name and information in the billing section of the payment form. The license holders name as it appears on the license should appear in the under the name space in the Shipping Information section of the payment form. The report we send must be sent using the name on your license or it will be rejected! If you changed your name and didn't up date it with the state the name as it appears on the license still must appear in the shipping section of the form. Equally important is that you include your complete license number accurately, beginning with Two or more Letters followed by a period (.) and then the number, all of which is considered the license number and all of which must be entered on the form below. If you hold more than one Texas license under the board of cosmetology you should enter all license in the license window of the form below. Once you submit the payment form you will receive a link that will direct you to a web page where you will be able to create and print your own Certificate of Completion. Finally, you must provide a correct and accurate email address Our support team is Internet based and issue resolution is done by email.

If you are not certain what your full license number is, or your exact name as it appears on the license you should look it up on the state website and enter it in the form below exactly as it is on record with the state. You can find that information on the Texas state web site, for your convienience we provided the link for you to do this, click here, and a popup window will open giving you access to the Texas state license search web page. Don't worry that you will loose your place, that will not happen. When you click on the link to search a popup window will open in a separate window. Search for your license information, and then enter it exactly as it is in the state records in the form below.
